“Don’t just get mad. Get moving!”
This is the rallying cry of the Jamaica Civil Society Coalition’s (JCSC) new radio programme, Consider This, the latest strategy in their campaign for good governance.
Consider This, which begins May 15 will provide in-depth analysis to inform public debate on development issues in the Jamaican society. The programme will be a vehicle to both inform and help trigger concrete action in the areas of concern to JCSC members including anti-corruption, transparency and accountability; human rights, economic growth, election oversight, violence reduction, peace and justice, environment and women’s empowerment.

The intensified campaign against theft, which has been supported by members of the security forces, has seen several operations across the parish, targeting both residences and business operations.
