Inner City Jamaican Youth to Get Purposely AlignedMaking a positive difference in students’ educational experience, especially for at-risk children, can be accomplished by helping them feel as though they belong. This, Melody Cammock-Gayle, Co-founder of the Re-Birth Project said is one of the aims of phase two of the programme which is scheduled to resume in October 2014, after a successful first phase staging, held between March and June 2014.

“The architects of the Re-Birth Project, an intervention initiative for at-risk youth, appreciate that an effective intervention programme requires a collaborative effort of talents of students, educators’ commitment to the learning process, parents’ involvement, community members’ concern, and business leaders coming together to address and meet the needs of youth at-risk. This is why we brought Trevor Hamilton & Associates Center for Excellence (THACE) on-board. They understand the parameters needed for success,” Cammock-Gayle explained.
