JPS President & CEO, Kelly Tomblin, is expressing her sincere appreciation to West Kingston Member of Parliament, Desmond Mckenzie, for the apology issued on behalf of residents of Tivoli Gardens, over bottle and stone throwing at JPS crews working in the community.
Ms. Tomblin says, “we do appreciate the MP’s apology and support. We are all in this together.” She further adds, “we are partners, and we value M.P. Mckenzie’s stance and input. This is the kind of political leadership we need to address this volatile situation. I am worried if we don't put an end to this, someone is going to get seriously hurt.” The JPS CEO further stated: “we do look forward to continuing a productive relationship with himself and members of the community.”
