As previously reported, Kelly Tomblin’s contract as President & CEO of JPS is concluding in early July.

JPS’ shareholders are in final discussions to name her successor by early June.

Tomblin has committed to working with the new CEO to ensure a smooth transition. She expressed confidence that her strong and experienced leadership team is poised to lead JPS with the expertise they always have.

Kelly has been at the helm of JPS since April 2012, and has led the organization through a significant transformation, as the utility repositioned itself to adapt to a dramatically changing energy landscape. She will be moving on to take up the position of CEO of Intren, a utility service provider headquartered in Union, Illinois.
