Image“Turn your lights down low and unfold your window curtains….I want to give you some good, good loving.”  Call me a poet, an artist or a crazy soul, but I can’t deny my passion for that sexy voice. Reggae music - well, let me rephrase that…Bob’s music excites my heart and ignites my senses into the untraveled road. He is more than a loving song - he is a legend beyond!

Born in Jamaica to a young black mother and an older British-Jewish father, Bob Marley is Reggae’s foremost practitioner and emissary, embodying its spirit and spreading its gospel to all corners of the globe. I attempt, not a summary of its biography, but a portrait of the way he shaped the world we live in.

A singer, songwriter, guitarist, poet, peacemaker, religious leader, and a legend beyond the legend, grants Bob Marley the title of the first Reggae performer to achieve a world wide audience, as well as being a significant cultural figure. Bob Marley continues to give people hope and direction to this very day. His music promotes the good and never the bad, and it spreads his message of Rastafari - peace, love, unity and equality.

Never driven by being rich or famous, he composed 104 songs himself, and he has an estimated of 338 songs (including remixes and different versions). He brought the Rastafari to the world (a mix of Jewish and Christian religions), and the fact that everyone is equal no matter what colour, faith, religion, or culture. He was the first third-world superstar!

“Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you are riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts; put your vision to reality. Wake up and live! Bob Marley. So call me a poet, an artist or a crazy soul, but I can’t deny my passion for that sexy voice. It is a legend beyond who whisperd “Turn your lights down low and unfold your window curtains…I want to give you some good, good loving”…
