Reggae superstar, Sean Paul, reportedly got arrested for possession of marijuana on Friday night at a Swedish reggae festival.

According to X17online.com, Sean Paul and several other artists were searched by police and arrested for drug possession after performing at the Uppsala Reggae Festival.

Police dogs were allegedly taken to the Grammy winners' room at the First Hotel Linne to check for contraband.

Police spokesperson, Christer Nordstrom, said several of the festivals' artists were involved when police took blood samples from approximately 50 individuals suspected of drug offenses this week, The Local, a Swedish newspaper said on Saturday.

"Among the suspects are a number of artists and musicians taking part in the festival. I can not specify which ones," Nordstrom said of Friday's testing.

Nordstrom said the arrests also came after police allegedly found small amounts of illegal drugs at the festival's backstage area, the newspaper reported.
