Jamaica's medal tally ended at six on Suday's final day of competition at the World Junior Championships in Poland. Keiron Stewart ran 13.51 seconds for third in the men's 110m hurdles and collected the bronze medal. Konstantin Shabanov of Russia captured gold in 13.27 seconds ahead of Booker Nunley of the United States, 13.45. The United States swept the relays at the championships as they won both 4x400 meter races on the final day. This follows wins on Saturday in both 4x100 races. The Americans won the men's event in a time of 3:03.86 seconds. Britain finished second (3:05.82), while Germany was third (3:06.47). Their female team won the gold easily in a time of 3:30.19 seconds. Ukraine (3:34.20) and Australia (3:34.23) were second and third respectively. Jamaica, with a team of Kevin Williams, Nickel Ashmeade, Rolando Berch and Akino Ming, ran a season's best 3:08.58 to place fourth. In the final medal count, the United States topped the standings with 17 medals, including 11 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze. Germany was second with 10, containing six gold, 1 silver and three bronze. Kenya was third with four golds, 5 silvers and 2 bronze for a total of 11 medals. Jamaica ended with 6 medals - 1 gold, 4 silver and 1 broze - which put them in ninth spot.
