Campbell-Brown, the reigning 200m Olympic champion, was unchallenged in both her season’s debut at 100m and over the half lap event. Both events were literally strolls in the park as she won the 100m by nearly 0.2 seconds in 11.02 before cruising to a 22.38 victory in the 200m, winning by nearly a full second. Her time in the 200m was a big improvement on her previous season’s best of 22.66 and her disappointing 22.93 runner-up finish at the Jamaica International in Kingston last weekend.
