Head of Cash Plus, Carlos Hill, and his brother Bertram were granted bail this morning in the Supreme Court.

Carlos was offered bail in the sum of $15 million bail with sureties, while Bertram was  released on bond of $10 million.  Though offered bail, Carlos Hill will remain in lockup over the weekened as all required documentation was not submitted to the court.  K. Churchill Neita, Carlos Hill's lawyer, said the necessary documention is being arranged and Hill should be released by Monday.

Conditions of the bail are that the be placed under house arrest between the hours of 6pm and 8am each day and are to report to the police on a daily basis.

Co-defendant, Peter Wilson, Cash Plus CFO, was previously granted bail in the sum of $5 million.

The Hill brothers have been in police custody since their arrest on fraud charges on April 10.

Carlos Hill has been charged with four counts of fraudulent conversion and four counts of obtaining money by false pretence as well as one count of conspiracy to defraud following the collapse of his company.

Bertram Hill and Peter Wilson are each charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud.

The three defendants are scheduled to return to court on May 14.
