ImageLopez Construction seeks to satisfy the middle to lower income housing market with an almost unbelievable offer.  They are offering to do the architectural drawings for a two bedroom one bathroom house, get them approved, build it and throw in a water tank to boot for JA$2.8M.  The following was quoted from their website.

"Lopez construction now provides many options to land owners to construct a single family house for as little as JA$200,000 per week.

The real estate development company offers a two bedroom one bathroom home along with a water tank plus drawings and approved plans for approximately JA$2.8M or US$47,650. Homes are constructed in as little as 4 months once plans are approved by parish council. The houses are built using block and steel along with poured concrete and customers pay in incremental payment of 25% after signing. Plans are also available for full residential and commercial developments.

Lopez construction also accepts customers who make use of National Housing Trust benefits, mortgages from Victoria Mutual Building Society as well as Jamaica National Building Society, Credit Unions and other registered residential and commercial lending institutions local and abroad.

The real estate development company does developments Islandwide and can be contacted directly at 978-5420 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it "

Jamaicans should be exteremly excited about this development as they have been thrown a lifeline in our tumultuous  and increasingly unaffordable housing market.  Check them out today.
