Soca's 'Saucy Wow' Denise Belfon will be joining fellow Soca leading ladies Fayann Lyons, and Trini Jacobs, while Soca veteran KMC has been enlisted along with  Benjai, Patch, Hunter, and the 'King of the Dancehall' Beenie Man,  to celebrate the "Fire Man" Bunji Garlin's 'Soca in Motion' 30th birthday bash this Saturday, June 27th in Washington D.C. The highly anticipated event promises to be the highlight of D.C.'s event-filled Caribbean Carnival weekend.
 
Promoters Pumpstation Entertainment along with Bunji Garlin and the Asylum Band, have added the sassy siren and multi-talented Soca stalwart in light of the absence of Destra Garcia, who, due to circumstances beyond their control, can no longer attend 'Soca in Motion.'

"On behalf of Bunji Garlin, the Asylum Band, and Pumpstation Management, we offer our sincere apologies for the cancellation of Destra Garcia's appearance," Pumpstation announced. "However, in light of her absence, we would like to announce that we have added Denise 'Saucy Wow' Belfon and KMC as a more that suitable replacement for your musical pleasure."
 
Hosted at Washington D.C.'s newly renovated DC Star, the star-studded the event is the talk of the town in the nation's capitol. Due to overwhelming response, the organizers have already had to extend online ticket sales deadlines.
 
"It is going to be crazy this Saturday," states an excited Garlin. "People are already in line outside of DC Star," he jokes, adding that he is "looking forward to celebrating this momentous occasion with fellow artists and fans."
 
Soca in Motion-Celebrating Bunji Garlin's Birthnight will be held Saturday, June 27th at DC Star Night Club in Washington DC.  Featured performers include Bunji Garlin, Fayann Lyons, Denise Belfon,  KMC, Benjai, Patch, Hunter, Trini Jacobs, and special guest Beenie Man. Music will be provided by Ricardo of Back to Basic,  DJ Black Spider, Andy Mix, and Pumpstation with DJ Tinga. Doors open at 10pm.
