Adijah Palmer, better known as Vybz Kartel has been released from police custody after he and nine other persons were arrested on Wednesday night at a Havendale studio.  All detained persons were released yesterday without being charged.

The persons who had been detained include a policeman who was on suspension from the Jamaica Constabulary Force.  The cop is said to be working as Kartel's body guard.

The detentions were a part of police investigations surrounding the shooting death of a member of the Portmore criminal underground two weeks ago.
