It will be a Grammy Affair at the Caribbean's best musical festival this January - the 2010 Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival - as acts like Gladys Knight, Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, Billy Ocean, Erykah Badu, Third World and The Whispers, take to the main stage in Trelawny, Jamaica.
The line-up of the 14th staging of the annual event recently expanded with the addition of multiple Grammy-winners, 'Babyface' and Erykah Badu.

Triple T Production has postponed Ocean Splash '009, a celebrity football (soccer) match and fun day planned for James Bond Beach this past Sunday, to a later date due to the weekend's torrential rain fall. Triple T Production is looking forward to hosting Ocean Splash - The Refix in the new year, promising to make the event an even bigger splash than originally planned.

Now and Forever features 15 new Sanchez tracks, produced by Donovan Germain of Penthouse Recordings. This is by far Sanchez’s best work to date. Along with delivering the sound that he is known for, the majority of this album contains original songs from Sanchez.
The first single from Now and Forever is “Longing To Come Home” on the Protect & Serve riddim, it is currently climbing the US world & reggae charts. “Won’t Surrender” touches on the controversial subject matter of infidelity and what an untrusting companion goes through in this situation.

Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival Moves To Greenfield Stadium, Trelawny |

The Caribbean's best music festival, Jamaica Jazz & Blues, has moved its main stage acts for the January 2010 festival to the Greenfield Stadium in Trelawny, just19 km east of its former home in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
Turnkey Productions, producers of the annual festival, explained that for the past three years the festival has been housed temporarily at the Aqueduct at Rose Hall, which requires putting in major infrastructure for each staging, at significant cost to the festival. With the deterioration in the economic climate coupled with inflation of costs, it became unfeasible to host the event at the Rose Hall venue, officials say.
