ImagePBS Kids Sprout, the network's digital cable channel targeted toward children, this week began running a campaign featuring a cover of Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds," reports Billboard Biz.

The song is performed by Elizabeth Mitchell and various little children from her album "You Are My Little Bird." The plan is to make the song a rallying cry akin to MTV's "I want my MTV" during the eighties.

ImageUK-based Jamaican artist, Dominique Salm , will be the featured artist in "United in Art" – an Exhibition of Fine Art from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland to be held at the Agora Gallery.

Originally from Jamaica, Dominique was deeply influenced by the community of artists in her close knit neighborhood and developed an interest in wildlife art from an early age. Dominique Salm holds a degree in illustration from the University of the West of England and currently lives and works in London.

Jamaican among men charged after drug bust in Bahamas PDF Print E-mail

Jamaican, Rorie Bennett, 27, of Ocho Rios, St. Ann was among a group of three men held during a drug bust in the Bahamas on Sunday night.  Also arrested in the operation were brothers Taffron Fraizer, 37, and Edrico Fraizer, 26, of Jolly Bain Subdivision, Carmichael Road in the Bahamas

According the Bahamian police, the three were spotted loading the illicit cargo off a go-fast boat on East Bay Street on Sunday night.

According to a report by Fitch Ratings on Tuesday, the emerging markets of Jamaica, Ukraine and Kazakhstan are most vulnerable from rising inflation which threatens investor confidence in their local-currency assets and can lead to volatile financial markets.

The Caribbean's emerging film and TV production industry is set to be on display again at the third Flashpoint Film Festival to be held between Thursday, June 5 – Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Fort Charles and the Historic Naval Hospital in Port Royal.

This year's event takes place on the anniversary of the catastrophic Port Royal earthquake of June 6, 1692 and commemorates the life and work of festival founder, Greer-Ann Saulter and legendary film maker Perry Henzell.
