Assassin Releases New Single & Video

AssassinDancehall star Assassin aka Agent Sasco returns with more flavor, more melody and more in store for his fans. Internationally known for his dynamic delivery as a dancehall deejay, the artist is now adding to his repertoire with the soulful sounds of a singer. Just in time for Valentine's Day, Assassin releases "Love You" - a poignant promise of love to his lady, accompanied by sweet, acoustic guitar riffs that bring the lyrics to life.
 
This is the first song Assassin wrote while teaching himself to play guitar after breaking his leg while playing soccer in September, 2010. Taking a brief break from stage performances not only gave the versatile entertainer a chance to heal but to also hone his craft. Now with this new, softer sound from such a big voice, Assassin remains 'wicked and wild' for the ladies.

Nicky B: Cooking Up Hits for 2011

ImageThough his dream of being a professional chef did not materialize, Nicky B is busy in the studio cooking up sweet-sounding treats that he is ready to dish out for anxious fans starting with his newest single “Golddigger” featuring Elephant Man.  The 2011 menu also promises collaborations with international artists such as French rapper Rohff, a Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor-produced remake of New Edition’s, 1988 mega-hit “If It Isn’t Love” and a European tour with Voicemail in the summer.

2010 was a big year for Nicky B (born Nicholas Bennett), whose signature Rhythm & Dancehall (RnD) sound was on steady rotation on Jamaican airwaves.  Songs such as “Dance Like We’re Making Love/Suga Dumplin” , “Every Gal” (on Russian’s G-Go Club Riddim), “Crazy Over You” on the Chimney Records-produced Retweet Riddim as well as collaborations including “Try My Love” feat Agent Sasco and “Fresh to Death” alongside Chino, Laden and Konshens ensured that he remained a staple on the musical palette.

Toi Hits Big With "Wine n Stop" Debut Video

ImageOn Tuesday, February 1, 2011, Jamaican American rising "Ultrastar" Toi, premiered her debut music video on her Youtube channel of over 34,000 fans. The video, which was shot at Calibur Films Studio in Pembroke Pines, Florida, features the hit single, "Whine N Stop" from the Sanction Riddim Album produced by UIM Records. The album which features some of Jamaica's Top Artistes including Beenie Man, Ding Dong, Voicemail, Konshens, Mr. Vegas, Blak Diamon as well as Timberlee has been receiving a host of positive responses thus far.
